Orlando was once again the site of the nationally acclaimed 70th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference® and 27th Annual Safety & Health Conference. Every year, the event attracts thousands of professionals looking to learn more about the industry. This year was no exception. Attendees came from across a wide spectrum of related industries including insurance companies, hospitals, risk managers, medical office administrators, health care attorneys, HR specialists and of course, doctors and health care providers.
The pain care physicians at Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants were there to provide greater understanding of the power of interventional pain management in getting injured employees to return to work. Interventional pain physicians attack pain at the point of origin. This direct approach often reduces or even eradicates the pain, a tremendous benefit to all patients – particularly those who need to get back on the job.
The conference is an excellent source of information on national trends and new regulations. It also features certification sessions for workplace safety and health.
“We believe that this is a vital conference for the interventional pain management physicians at Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants, as it provides a comprehensive vision of the workers’ comp field, and an ideal venue for us to share our expertise,” said Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants founder Ira Fox, MD, DABPM, FIPP, ABIPP.
The event is a result of the partnership among various organizations, including the Workers’ Compensation Institute, Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute, Inc. the National Association of Workers’ Compensation Judiciary and the Professional Mediation Institute.
