TAMARAC, FL — The Cleveland Clinic Department of Pain Management invited Ira B. Fox, MD, DABPM, FIPP, founder of Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants to present at its 11th Annual Pain Management Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center and Spa in Fort Lauderdale. The symposium promoted a better understanding of acute and chronic pain and enhanced the knowledge regarding various chronic pain conditions, and critically reviewed novel state-of-the-art interventional and noninterventional techniques in diagnosis and management of chronic pain, cancer pain and headaches.
Dr. Fox was among nationally and internationally renowned physicians presenting at the symposium. His workshops included “How to Advance Your Pain Care Practice,” RFA cervical, lumbar facets and sacroiliac joint and cervical neuroplasty.
Dr. Fox attended the medical school at the U.A. of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his medical education at State University of NY at Stony Brook, NY. His residency was in anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center in NJ, where he was Chief Resident.
He has passed the exclusive World Institute of Pain (WIP) examination to become a Fellow International Pain Practitioner (FIPP). Based on his ability and experience, Dr. Fox has become an international examiner for the organization. He maintains the following board certifications: World Institute of Pain; American Board of Pain Medicine; and the American Board of Anesthesiology with added certification in Pain Management.
