Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants committed to treating injured workers and getting them back on the job

Workplace Safety Signs

Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants recently exhibited at the Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference® held on Aug. 21-24.

The nationally acclaimed conference attracted thousands of workers’ comp, safety and healthcare professionals looking to learn more about the industry. Attendees came from a wide spectrum of related industries including insurance companies, hospitals, risk managers, medical office administrators, healthcare attorneys, HR specialists and of course, doctors and healthcare providers.

The conference has long been an excellent source of information on national trends and new regulations. It also features certification sessions for workplace safety and health.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, in the state of Florida alone, more than $258 million is spent on bills and workers’ comp claims. More than 10,000 claims have already been filed this year.

“For Anesthesia Pain Care Consultants, this is an important conference because it provides such a comprehensive vision of the workers’ comp field,” said Ira B. Fox, MD, DABPM, FIPP, ABIPP, who recently assumed the presidency of the World Society of Pain Clinicians. “Our goal is to reduce pain so that people can return to work sooner. This is good for them, for their employers and for the economy.”
